I was so so SO surprised when googling my mate Darlene (as a joke) I found a reveiw with me in it too! OH MY GOD! Thank you for coming up to see it. It's really touching. I have been a "Rent head" for years too and had to get my head around killing Mimi, but the decision was made after rehearsing it several times both ways and the majority decided that small town New Zealand might be a touch cynical for the original ending. Either way - I still love the show and it was a helluva good time! Thanks again.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6882957900081933460.post-85623668034546479732008-05-20T16:54:00.000+12:002008-05-20T16:54:00.000+12:00Hi,The Anzacs were fab!If you enjoyed the Levin sh...Hi,

The Anzacs were fab!

If you enjoyed the Levin show of RENT you should really go and see the one in Palmerston North, I seen both and I tell ya the Palmerston North one will blow you out of the water, it was amazing, I'm glad i made the trip up there!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6882957900081933460.post-36017868741303601102008-04-28T09:31:00.000+12:002008-04-28T09:31:00.000+12:00BTW, liking the new header photo!BTW, liking the new header photo!Thinking About Foodhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00231806622540244687noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6882957900081933460.post-5921419067100262322008-04-28T09:30:00.000+12:002008-04-28T09:30:00.000+12:00I am so glad you enjoyed the Levin rendition of Re...I am so glad you enjoyed the Levin rendition of Rent- phew, that was a relief eh after all that effort!!!!:)Great to see you tried the cake too, and I see you are getting some nice photos outside!!!!!Thinking About Foodhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00231806622540244687noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6882957900081933460.post-90731201351101396372008-04-27T21:10:00.000+12:002008-04-27T21:10:00.000+12:00Mum: I googled it, I'm the only review that pops u...Mum: I googled it, I'm the only review that pops up :) that crumble sounds so good, I like the idea of putting ginger in the topping. Glad you liked it and hat the effort was worthwhile - for you at least.

Well done on the Anzac biscuits.Went to the Anzac Parade today.

Had a wonderful farewell-Lynn roast lamb dinner at Nana's this evening - for 12 miscellaneous family members, with the obligatory 9 vegetables. (Roast pumpkin, potato and kumara; mashed parsnip and carrot; silver beet; cauliflower and broccoli and.... can't remember what the other one was. I made the dessert: Apple crumble made with apple, feijoa and sliced crystalised ginger and a topping of random quantities of flour, coconut, brown sugar, butter, ground almonds and walnut pieces. Very nice.

Cheers,
KAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
