Must have been fixating on all the slow-cooked meat recipes. Today I'm going to make the lentil and sausage soup and the meatballs with caper and cream sauce -- both from the Berlin part. I'm also pretty tempted by that cake too.Sue Kerrhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07569178603238739003noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6882957900081933460.post-40742709332853118372011-06-24T20:54:35.872+12:002011-06-24T20:54:35.872+12:00Love your blog! Also, am so impressed with how hardout your pudding was, even I don't mess around with gelatine so casually ;)

Foodycat: To be fair, I can barely handle my own either...and my head's now better!

Sasa: His cookbook's great, right? I also had an amazing chickpea and preserved lemon stew of his the other night from his new cookbook (my best friend cooked me dinner). For Sunday-gathering lunch I used dried red fruits set in gelatine and ooooold framboise liqueur (does it go off?) and then presented it in brandy snap baskets and in the middle of tubular brandy snaps, basket-topped (or tubular-tipped) with cream. I called the tubed brandy snaps "Jelly middles" instead of jelly tips. Frozen fruit would have been better, I decided. Looking forward to hearing how you used the kumara.Kaynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6882957900081933460.post-80035139228260182302011-06-20T19:17:53.814+12:002011-06-20T19:17:53.814+12:00That looks & sounds beautiful & so easy, o...That looks & sounds beautiful & so easy, over vanilla ice cream...YUM!...must have a proper read of Cuisine...no excuse really especially when I can even call it work ;) WOAP sounds so much foodie fun,,,so want to try & get down there to sample some of the delights on offer.Mairi@Toasthttp://toast-mairi.blogspot.com/noreply@blogger.com
